I am looking for a very distinct antique lamp. It is the one with a victorian era couple waltzing(like in The Little Mermaid). If anyone knows where to buy one, I would like to hear your suggestions.

I have had lamp that I got from a deceased family member, it has a lamp in the base, three candle-like lights and a mogul light fruit bowl shaped on top. it’s something very similar to what "deena productions" had in the 40s. I want to at least rewire it to use it, because those lamps are only worth like 50-200 dollars at the most. Would you do this?? Also, if I wanted to maybe paint the pole part, would this decrease the value?? Should I even be worried about it being worth a lot in the future??

A few years ago, we bought an antique bronze torchiere floor lamp at a Boston Store Furniture location. Unfortunately the metal support for the glass shade got broken last weekend. I have been trying to find the exact model and company online to see if we can order a replacement part, without success. Can anyone help (see pics)?

My house is full of antique lamps. For over 4 years, my rooms outlets have worked fine, and surge protectors, etc.
All of a sudden about 2 months back, I took a new lamp as the other one died, and put it in. It worked shortly, and then when I turned it on it make a LOUD pop and stopped that surge protector and the outlet it was going too, and 1 other outlet across the room.
I took a new lamp, surge protector, and outlet and had a good streak for 2 months.
This morning I turned on the lamp, and it broke a surge protector, all remaining outlets, and my AC.
I also have a ,500 computer. Did it damage it?
Should I just call an electrician?
Was it the lamps that caused this?

ok, so i just found an antique lamp in my garage and i researched it a bit and its a ‘juno’ lamp which dates pre 1900. its not in good condition. the metal has a sort of rust-is looking stuff on it that kinda looks green. im only 15 so i cant buy some producats but id like to know any cleaning supplies i would need. i dont wanna ruin this because it looks really cool so any tips on cleaning brass would be great. the lamp looks just like this… just dirty http://antiques-internet.com/colorado/swspirit/dynapage/IP461.htm
